BEGINNINGS

I started working construction while in high school and have a lifetime of experience in the trades. I worked in every aspect of building from concrete foundations to roofing.  Eventually I got the opportunity to apprentice as an interior trim carpenter and found my calling.  My aptitude for finish work allowed me to become a high level craftsman.

DEVELOPING SKILLS

I have spent my life in resort towns like Jackson Hole, Aspen and Sun Valley where I had the opportunity to work on multi-million dollar homes and learn from exceptional craftsmen from all over the world.  I acquired diverse skills in everything from traditional "Old World" joinery to timber framing and log work to modern European cabinet systems, including working in and managing high production cabinet shops.  Along the way I have designed and built sophisticated staircases and wall treatments, kitchens, offices, decorative ceilings, custom doors, furniture pieces and even lighting fixtures.

IN MEXICO

I sold my larger cabinet shop machinery when we moved to Mexico, but brought my job-site and travel tools; enough to do a wide range of woodworking. In the course of remodeling our kitchen and bathrooms, in addition to various other enhancements to our home, I found myself being approached by people who saw my work and asked about my doing work for them. I decided I'm not ready for full retirement and have "hung out my shingle" to be available to discerning clients who desire work such as mine.
